Spanish Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 18+

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Level 1 (3 credit hours)

• SPAN 275 Comprehensive Skills Review of Spanish through Culture (3)

Level 2 (6 credit hours)

Complete 6 credit hours from one of the following options:

Level 3 (9 credit hours)

• SPAN 320 Introduction to Textual Analysis (3)

•  

• SPAN 381 Introduction to Spanish Linguistics (3)

• OR

• SPAN 383 Topics in Spanish Language Studies (3)

•  

• Three additional credit hours from a SPAN 300 or 400-level elective.

Notes:

• No more than 15 credit hours from SPAN 332  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 15 credit hours from SPAN 333  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from SPAN 366  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 9 credit hours from SPAN 367  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 3 credit hours from SPAN 400  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 4 credit hours from SPAN 401  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from SPAN 490  may be applied towards the program requirements.
