Psychology Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 18

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Core course:

• PSYC 103 Introduction to Psychological Science (3)

Complete one course from the following:

• PSYC 213 Conditioning and Learning (3)
• PSYC 214 Behavioral Neuroscience (3)
• PSYC 215 Cognitive Psychology (3)
• PSYC 216 Sensation and Perception (3)

Select one course from the following:

• PSYC 221 Abnormal Psychology (3)
• PSYC 222 Psychology of Personality (3)
• PSYC 223 Social Psychology (3)
• PSYC 224 Lifespan Development (3)

Complete at least 9 additional credit hours in psychology at the 200-level or higher.

• PSYC 198  is not applicable toward the minor.
• Credit cannot be applied for both PSYC 250  and PSYC 211  towards the program requirements.
