The German Studies Minor provides in-depth study of German history, literature, culture, society, and business, including socio-political issues in reunited Germany and a look at the societies of contemporary Switzerland and Austria. Students may select courses taught in English or German, depending on their interests and abilities.

Elective Requirement
Complete 12 additional credit hours. At least 9 credit hours must be taken from any GRMN course at the 300-level or higher. 3 credit hours may be taken from any GRST course or the following:

- No more than 3 credit hours from GRMN 496 may be applied towards the program requirements.
- No more than 6 credit hours from GRMN 498 may be applied towards the program requirements.
