MATH 540 Statistical Learning I (3) This course provides an introduction to various approaches to statistical learning including empirical processes, classification and clustering, nonparametric density estimation and regression, model selection and adaptive procedures, bootstrapping and cross-validation. Prerequisite(s): Students must have a working knowledge of undergraduate Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, and Statistics. Course Frequency: Fall
