ARCM 570 Leading Arts and Cultural Organizations (3) This course focuses on the role of arts and cultural institutions in society, and the artists and managers who lead them. Students will examine the rapid changes occurring domestically and globally in the performing and visual arts, as well as the humanities, and analyze the impact of these changes within the nonprofit and public domain. Specifically, the course will address leadership, management, and ethics; cultural policy; creative placemaking; and strategic planning and evaluation in a changing environment.
