DBAD 901 General Research Design (3)

This course aims to provide doctoral students with an introduction to the philosophy of science, emphasizing the theory development process, the hypothesis test process, the literature review, and a variety of research designs with their respective trade-offs. This course will also discuss important methodological concepts for a rigorous scientific study, such as construct and internal and external validity. The primary outcome of this class is a research proposal draft where students will exercise the development of a research problem and a research design to answer the problem.
