DBAD 914 Foundations & Frontiers in Organizational Behavior (3)

Through in-depth analysis of seminal and contemporary readings in the areas of organizational behavior (OB) and organization theory (OT), we will examine organizations as constituted by both individual action and external forces. Given the size of these two areas, this course is not exhaustive; rather, it will introduce you to key topics and examples of recent research. Special attention will be devoted to developing criteria to evaluate, critique, and synthesize existing research. In doing so, we will balance the discussion of broader theoretical principles with the practical use of the literature in developing a research paper.
Course Frequency: Fall
Repeatable: No
