Effective information management enables organizations to leverage their data and information assets to make informed decisions, improve operational efficiency, enhance productivity, and gain a competitive advantage. It involves employing appropriate technologies, processes, and practices to ensure that information is accurate, accessible, and usable by the right people at the right time. The goal of this course is to develop a theoretical and methodological working knowledge of the challenges and benefits associated with the management of information as practiced by individuals, organizations, and communities.
