Mathematics Minor

Minor Requirements

Credit Hours: 21+

In addition to completing the requirements for this minor, students must also complete the minor requirements specified in the Academic Regulations  section of this catalog.

Required Courses

• MATH 120 Introductory Calculus (4)
• MATH 220 Calculus II (4)
• MATH 203 Linear Algebra (3)
• Ten additional credit hours at the 200 level or above, of which three credit hours must be at the 300 level or above.

Notes:

• Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 115  in lieu of MATH 120 .
• Honors students can take the alternative course of HONS 215  in lieu of MATH 220 .

• No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 399  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 6 credit hours from MATH 417  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 3 credit hours from MATH 418  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 480  may be applied towards the program requirements.
• No more than 12 credit hours from MATH 485  may be applied towards the program requirements.
