Program Requirements

Credit Hours: 36

Core Workshops (12 credit hours)

Students will choose creative nonfiction, fiction or poetry as their primary genre and complete four core workshops in the primary genre.

• ENGL 561 MFA Workshop in Creative Nonfiction (3)

• OR

• ENGL 564 MFA Workshop in Poetry (3)

• OR

• ENGL 565 MFA Workshop in Fiction (3)

Select an Emphasis Area

Complete an Emphasis in either Studio or Arts and Cultural Management.
