Learning and Inquiry in Practice, Ed.D. Admission Requirements


Institutional Admissions Requirements


  • A completed application form with a nonrefundable application fee of $60.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework. An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • International applicants should refer to the International Students area within the “Admissions Information” section of the catalog for information on providing appropriate documentation with the application.

Program Admissions Requirements


Applicants must: 

 

  1. Hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  2. Provide official transcripts from all previously attended postsecondary institutions. 
  3. Submit a current resume or curriculum vitae. 
  4. Provide a 1,000-word statement of intent explaining how completion of the program will support their professional and personal goals, what skills and aptitudes they bring to the program, and how they plan to use the degree in practice. 
  5. Submit at least two recommendation forms from supervisors, colleagues, or former professors who can provide evidence of the applicant’s capacity for doctoral work OR sit for an interview with program faculty. 
  6. Demonstrate English language proficiency with an official copy of the applicant’s TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores. (TOEFL minimum score of 80; IELTS minimum score of 6.5; Duolingo minimum total score of 105)
