DBAD 905 Qualitative Research Methods (3) Through in-depth analysis of seminal qualitative writings and immersion into one’s own research project, this course explores the philosophical foundations and practical mechanics of common qualitative research approaches. Special attention will be devoted to crafting qualitative research questions, positioning theory in a qualitative research project, data collection and analysis procedures, evaluating qualitative research, and ethical considerations in conducting qualitative research. In doing so, we will seek to balance the discussion of broader principles in qualitative research, such as generalizability, with the practical use of the tools and concepts. Prerequisite(s): EDBA 901 Course Frequency: Spring Repeatable: No
